This configuration adjusts time and date.
This item displays the date of the current system by format of 24 hours and calendar.
Time Zone indicates the timezone where the current system is located in, it effects to the daylight saving time and the time synchronization. You need to select area to change timezone.
The first city is selected in an alphabet order when the area is selected above timezone area. This city can be changed into the preferable city by clicking the city. The window will be disappeared and the time and date information will be applied by clickingbutton.
Time is important in the security device. It is configured with the network time server to get an accurate time. Local time is tend to slow slightly so the time server is preferred.
Supported time synchronization Protocols are NTP, Unix/Linux, Windows, Custom. NTP method uses network time protocol(ntpdate, 123 port), Unix/Linux method uses the time synchronization program(rdate, 37 port), Windows method uses the time synchronization from the windows server(net time, 139/445 port).
Time will be configured with specified server on Server a day by selecting . This process is executed automatically and can be executed instantly by clicking button from the time server.
The system will be restarted when time goes backward from the current system's one. The system will not be restarted when time goes forward, but the network connection and the recording will be stopped before the change of time and will be restarted after the change of time.
Advancing time occurs few problem to system, turning back time can occur system malfunction. So, program will be restarted when time is turning back. System will be restarted whenbutton is clicked with same reason.
Overlap of recorded data will be removed when time is turned back to avoid conflicting.
